PACU Registered Nurse

CareerNation is seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse for a 12-week contract assignment at Franklin Surgery Center, an outpatient surgery center in Franklin, TN. This position offers a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule, making it an excellent opportunity for a PACU RN seeking predictable hours and work-life balance in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery environment.

Clinical Setting

You will work in an outpatient surgery center providing post-anesthesia care in both Phase I and Phase II recovery settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide Phase I and Phase II post-anesthesia nursing care
• Monitor vital signs, airway, pain level, consciousness, and overall recovery
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and documentation
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Identify and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Provide discharge education and instructions
• Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and clinical staff
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Follow facility safety and infection-control protocols

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Contract dates: August 24, 2026–November 16, 2026 (12 weeks)

Compensation

• $55 per hour

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Experience in PACU nursing
• Ability to commit to the full 12-week assignment
