Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse, Neurology Clinic (Full Time)

Benefis is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for our Neurology Clinic to provide direct and indirect patient care in an outpatient office/clinic setting. Clinical Setting

You will work in a neurology clinic providing care that addresses the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of patient care. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse and/or physician.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the office/clinic setting
• Meet the communication needs of patients and families
• Maintain regulatory requirements, nursing and office/clinic policies, procedures, and standards
• Communicate with physicians and team members about patients' clinical conditions, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology
• Perform all assigned job duties and tasks
• Handle pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy
• Manage constantly changing situations and work with a variety of people
• Handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts professionally

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing
• Current state licensed practical nurse license
• Current BLS certification

Compensation

• Starting wage: $24.12 per hour (actual offered wage is based on applicable experience)
• Non-exempt position
