LOG Surgery Center is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN Circulator to join our outpatient surgery center team. As an OR RN Circulator, you will provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients, coordinate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team, and ensure safe, efficient surgical procedures. This is a full-time position with no weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements.

LOG Surgery Center is a busy outpatient surgery center where you will work in a collaborative environment with experienced surgical professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on scientific nursing principles
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to develop and execute patient care plans
- Assess and monitor patients' vital signs throughout the perioperative period
- Assist in positioning patients and ensure safety at all times
- Provide accurate care and handling of surgical specimens
- Observe, check, and monitor all equipment used during surgery to confirm proper operation
- Handle patient documentation and maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record system
- Inventory all items before and after surgery
- Ensure correct patient identification and procedure verification through proper Time Out procedures
- Provide basic bedside care
- Respond to life-saving situations according to nursing standards and protocols
- Record all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in a timely manner
- Prep the operating room for patients and procedures
- Prep patients' operative areas using aseptic technique with approved antiseptic solutions
- Monitor patients' physical well-being throughout the care continuum
- When requested, scrub in on procedures, including surgical hand scrubbing per AORN standards, selecting and handling instruments and supplies, and passing items to the surgeon
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate degree or BSN
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 3 months of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 3 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) certification
Schedule
- Full-time position
- No weekends, holidays, or on-call rotation
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- May be exposed to infectious diseases
- Standing and walking for more than half of the day
- Frequently bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, twisting, and lifting
- Must be able to assist with pushing, pulling, and lifting patients up to 300 pounds
