Operating Room Registered Nurse 36 hours, day shift

Join Lahey Hospital as a Full-Time Operating Room Registered Nurse working 36 hours on the day shift. You will deliver perioperative nursing care in a 23-operating room surgical facility that pioneers innovative treatments across multiple specialized surgical disciplines.

Clinical Setting

Lahey operates one of the largest live donor liver transplant programs in the United States and maintains specialized surgical programs in cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, urology, and robotic surgery. You will work with cutting-edge surgical technology and collaborate with highly specialized surgical teams.

Required Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• Nursing Diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN), or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred
• Minimum 3 years of relevant operating room experience
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification
• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
• Personal computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds maximum, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) certification
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience
• American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification

Compensation

Base hourly wage range: $37.00 - $95.37. Actual compensation is determined based on factors including seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, work location geography, job responsibilities, and other applicable factors permitted by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices as applicable.
