Union Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join the Bone and Joint North location. In this full-time role, you will provide comprehensive patient care in a sports medicine and orthopedic setting, working closely with hand surgeons and supporting the walk-in clinic. You will be part of a team dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to the Wabash Valley communities.
Clinical Setting
You will work at the Bone and Joint North location, a sports medicine and orthopedic practice. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Complete routine physical assessments using systematic assessment skills
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient clinical problems and healthcare needs
- Record physical findings, formulate treatment plans and prognosis based on patient condition
- Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and physician instructions
- Respect patient rights, including the right to informed consent, privacy, confidentiality, and the right to refuse care
- Assist with patient education to promote self-care and patient independence
- Follow company policies, procedures, and department protocols
Schedule
- Full-time position
- 40 hours per week
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited MSN or PA program
- Active Indiana RN license
- Active APRN or PA/CSR license or eligibility for licensure
- AANP, ANCC, or PA certification
- BLS certification
