Nurse Practitioner Wound Care - Full-time

Korzen Health and Healogics seek a full-time Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to join the Wound Care Center in Livingston, TX. This position is based in an outpatient wound care clinic exclusively dedicated to procedural wound care, serving primarily geriatric patients. You will work as part of an integrated clinical team with St. Lukes CommonSpirit Hospital.

Clinical Setting

The clinic operates during standard daytime hours with no night shifts, on-call responsibilities, holiday hours, or weekend hours. All patients are seen by appointment only; walk-ins are not accepted. You will have full team support including a Case Manager, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Nurses, Office Manager, and front and back office support staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide procedural wound care to patients with chronic wounds
• Perform minor procedures including suturing, debridement, and incision and drainage (I&D)
• Deliver advanced wound-care treatments including cellulitis therapy, compression therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, infection management and prevention, wound cleaning, and wound dressing
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and patient-centered care

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) license
• Current DEA License
• Minimum of 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience
• Demonstrated procedural experience such as simple suturing, incision and drainage (I&D), or similar minor procedures
• Procedural case logs will be requested as part of the credentialing process

Note: Other types of non-dermatological procedural experience may be acceptable on a case-by-case basis.

Schedule

• Standard work hours are daytime hours averaging around 40 hours per week
• No night shifts, on-call responsibilities, holiday hours, or weekend hours
