The IMA Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to conduct Occupational Health and Disability evaluations for the Department of Veterans Affairs in Watertown, NY. This is a part-time position offering 3 to 4 days per week with no nights, weekends, on-call duties, or ongoing patient care responsibilities.
Clinical Setting
You will work in an occupational health and disability evaluation setting, conducting assessments on behalf of the VA. This role focuses purely on evaluation and documentation rather than treatment or prescribing.
Responsibilities
- Conduct VA Occupational Health and Disability assessments in Watertown, NY
- Examine medical histories and supporting clinical records
- Draft clear, accurate, and timely evaluation reports
- Ensure documentation meets objectivity and accuracy standards
Schedule
- Part-time position: 3 to 4 days per week
- Set schedule with no nights, weekends, or on-call rotation
- No follow-up care or treatment responsibilities
Compensation
- Annual compensation prorated to schedule
- Approximately $66,000 to $72,000 for 3 days per week
- Approximately $88,000 to $96,000 for 4 days per week
Required Qualifications
- Active New York Nurse Practitioner license
- Ability to satisfy VA credentialing requirements for Occupational Health and Disability exams
- Solid clinical evaluation and report-writing skills
