Job Description

Warrior Vets Medical Services, a clinician-owned health company, is seeking Nurse Practitioners to provide general medical evaluations to current and former US Military veterans. This is a contract position offering flexible scheduling with the option to work full-time or part-time.

Clinical Setting

Evaluations are conducted in-person at partner facilities. Each veteran receives a one-time general medical evaluation; there are no ongoing treatment needs or follow-up care required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive general medical evaluations for veteran patients
  • Complete evaluations typically lasting 30 to 90 minutes per veteran
  • Document findings in the employer's user-friendly electronic medical record system

Schedule

Full-time positions are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Appointments are efficiently scheduled to total no more than eight hours per day. Part-time and flexible scheduling options are also available. You have the ability to create your own custom schedule.

Compensation

  • Hourly rate: $150 to $250 per hour
  • Payment is remitted within 45 days of encounter documentation
  • Compensation is provided for each evaluation completed

Administrative Support

The back-office support team handles all administrative responsibilities, including contracting with the Veterans Administration, liaising with contractors, and payment processing. This allows you to focus your time on patient care.

Required Qualifications

  • Unrestricted state medical licensure without limitations to perform full scope of authorized practice
  • Master's degree from a US-accredited, post-baccalaureate course of study
  • Current certification by the ANCC or AANP
  • Minimum 2 years of post-graduate primary care experience
  • Established collaborating physician

Note: These evaluations are general medical evaluations, not disability evaluations.
