Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care to residents in assisted living communities in Queens, New York. This is a part-time, on-site position with no nights or weekends, offering the opportunity to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to seniors while maintaining work-life balance.

Clinical Setting

You will work in assisted living communities serving senior residents, conducting full health assessments, managing chronic and acute conditions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments, physical exams, and medication reviews
• Create personalized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Manage chronic and acute conditions
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications within your NP scope of practice
• Educate residents and families on health maintenance and independence
• Maintain clear, up-to-date clinical records in eClinicalWorks
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Active New York State NP license
• DEA registration
• Eligible for Medicare/Medicaid billing
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Geriatric or long-term care experience

Schedule

• Part-time with flexible hours
• On-site only (not remote)
• No weekends
• No nights

Compensation

• $60,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience and hours worked
• W2 and 1099 compensation models available
