Nurse Practitioner Team Coverage - Community Health Center Support (Itinerant)

Southcentral Foundation (SCF) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide direct patient care in an itinerant community health center support role. This position serves Alaska Native people affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF's geographical service area. You will work as part of the Nurse Practitioner Team Coverage, delivering clinical services across assigned areas.

Compensation

• Daily rate: $867.00

Required Qualifications

• Active license as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Alaska
• Current certification by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
• Eligibility for associate medical staff membership and required privileges of service
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Additional certifications as required for specialty and scope of practice, which may include ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO, and PALS

Employee Health Requirements

• Compliance with SCF Employee Health procedures is a condition of employment
• Documentation of the following immunizations prior to first day of employment: MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella), Varicella (Chicken Pox), Hepatitis B, Influenza, Tdap (Tetanus-Diphtheria-Pertussis), and COVID-19

Native Preference

• Under P.L. 93-638, as amended, SCF pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting, and training. SCF Human Resources must receive certification before applicants receive preference.
