Nurse Practitioner - Skilled Nursing Facility - 10k Sign-On Bonus

Serve as a primary care provider for geriatric patients in a skilled nursing facility. This full-time position offers a manageable patient volume, allowing ample time to focus on comprehensive care and provide proper attention to each patient's needs.

Clinical Setting

You will work in a skilled nursing facility operated by a leading national provider of integrated medical services. The organization cares for individuals transitioning from post-hospitalization to home settings, with a focus on delivering quality medical care to the geriatric population.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and evaluate medical care for assigned patients
• Examine and treat chronic illnesses
• Examine and treat urgent illnesses
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing
• Collaborate with caregivers and other healthcare professionals
• Work closely with the interdisciplinary care team
• Make referrals as necessary
• Participate in on-call responsibilities involving low-volume phone triage (no more than 3 nights per month with schedule flexibility offered)

The practice uses a mobile-based EHR platform. You will be supported by team members who assist with scheduling, orders, referrals, and other administrative tasks.

Required Qualifications

• Active North Carolina NP license
• DEA registration
• Minimum 1 year of advanced practice experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience in relevant settings such as facilities, home care, or geriatrics

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Monday to Friday
• No evenings
• No weekends
• No holidays
• Some flexibility offered
• On-call duties: no more than 3 nights per month with schedule flexibility

Compensation and Benefits

• $10,000 sign-on bonus
• $115,000 to $130,000+ starting base salary (negotiable based on experience)
