Nurse Practitioner, Psych PMHNP - OC Steps

Telecare STEPS Orange County is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide direct psychiatric care and medical treatment to adults with serious mental illness. This is a part-time position serving 141 adults aged 18 and older in a community-based behavioral health setting.

Schedule

• Monday and Wednesday, 8am to 5pm
• Part-time, 16 hours per week
• Onsite position

Responsibilities

• Provide direct psychiatric nurse practitioner care and medical treatment to program members
• Serve as a senior member of the clinical team
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a dynamic, professional environment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science
• Advanced degree in a healthcare science as required by the State Licensing program
• Minimum of one year of full-time experience (or equivalent part-time experience) working in a program serving persons with mental disabilities
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner in the State of practice
• Active DEA license
• Active Furnishing license

Compensation

• Expected starting wage range: $81 to $100 per hour
• Pay range is based on geographic location and commensurate with relevant experience above minimum requirements
• Independent Contractors are not eligible for company benefits and must provide their own malpractice insurance
