Nurse Practitioner, Psych PMHNP - Mead Valley Wellness MHRC

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), you will provide direct psychiatric care and medication management to clients served by the Riverside County Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC). Working as a senior member of the clinical team, you will develop and deliver recovery-focused treatment plans in concert with a multidisciplinary team in a 50-bed sub-acute residential program licensed to provide longer-term mental health recovery services 24/7/365 within a supportive, structured, and secure inpatient environment.

Clinical Setting

The MHRC is located in Riverside, California and serves individuals with mental health disabilities in a residential setting designed to help clients prepare to move to the community and/or lower levels of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct psychiatric care and medication treatment to program members
• Develop and deliver recovery-focused treatment plans as part of the multidisciplinary team
• Serve as a senior member of the clinical team

Schedule

This is a part-time position of 24 hours per week. The standard schedule is 8am-5pm Monday through Friday onsite, with flexible days available. You will be on call for emergencies only by phone from 5pm-8am, with additional compensation of $150 per night for on-call duties.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science
• Advanced degree in a healthcare science as required by the State Licensing program
• Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience, or its part-time equivalent, working in a program serving persons with mental disabilities
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner in the State of practice
• Active DEA license
• Active Furnishing license

Compensation

Expected employee starting wage range is $78-$96 per hour. Geographic differentials are applied to pay ranges based on the location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
