Nurse Practitioner, Psych PMHNP - Los Angeles Older Adults ACT

Telecare is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide direct psychiatric care and medication management to older adults age 55 and older served through the Older Adults Prevention and Early Intervention (OAPEI) program. This is a part-time position working 32 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, 8am to 5pm onsite in Los Angeles.

The OAPEI program delivers culturally competent mental health services to older adults with serious mental illness through two Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) teams operating in the Long Beach and Southeast Los Angeles areas, currently serving 106 members.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct psychiatric care and medication treatment to program members
• Develop and deliver recovery-focused treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Serve as a senior member of the clinical team

Schedule

• Part-time, 32 hours per week
• Monday through Thursday, 8am to 5pm
• Onsite position

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science
• Advanced degree in a healthcare science as required by the State Licensing program
• Minimum of one year of full-time experience (or equivalent part-time experience) working in a program serving persons with mental disabilities
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner in the State of practice
• Active DEA license
• Active Furnishing license

Compensation

• Expected starting wage range: $134,866 to $166,554 annually (based on 32 hours per week)
• Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements
• Geographic differentials apply based on the location from which the role is performed
