Telecare is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide direct psychiatric care and medication management to adults and youth served at Kern Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU). This is a part-time position offering 24 hours per week working Saturday and Sunday, 9am-9pm onsite. You will serve as a senior member of the clinical team, delivering recovery-focused treatment in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team at a 24/7 crisis stabilization unit designed to reduce inpatient hospitalization and strengthen outpatient behavioral health services.
Schedule
- Part-time, 24 hours per week
- Saturday and Sunday, 9am-9pm onsite
- Optional on-call availability for emergencies by phone, compensated up to $250 per night
Responsibilities
- Provide direct psychiatric care and medication treatment to program members
- Develop and deliver recovery-focused treatment plans in concert with the multidisciplinary team
- Serve as a senior member of the clinical team
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science
- Advanced degree in a healthcare science as required by the State Licensing program
- Minimum of one year of full-time experience (or equivalent part-time experience) working in a program serving persons with mental disabilities
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner in the State of practice
- Active DEA license
- Active Furnishing license
Compensation
- Expected starting wage range: $106,473 - $131,490 annually
- Geographic differentials applied to pay ranges based on location of work
- Starting pay commensurate with relevant experience above minimum requirements
- Independent Contractors are not eligible for company benefits and must provide their own malpractice insurance
