Nurse Practitioner (PRN)

ProgressiveHealth is seeking PRN Nurse Practitioners to provide occupational health services at an H-E-B distribution facility in Corpus Christi, TX. In this dynamic, fast-paced environment, you will deliver direct onsite patient care to employees, supporting injury prevention and wellness programs while helping maintain a safe and healthy workplace.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, onsite patient care services and professional services to meet client-requested coverage hours
• Deliver occupational health services, including assessments, histories, physical exams, and treatments
• Prescribe medications and medical treatments based on evidence-based practice standards
• Collaborate with nursing and safety staff to implement medical protocols, procedures, and emergency plans
• Provide guidance and education to additional clinical staff as appropriate
• Support injury prevention initiatives and wellness programs to improve employee health and productivity
• Monitor employee health, conduct surveillance for occupational and non-occupational health risks, and respond to health concerns

Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with Board Certification
• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice location
• No current professional disciplinary proceedings of any state or federal authorities or disciplinary action of any medical facility in any jurisdiction
• Never been excluded, suspended, or otherwise sanctioned by Medicare, Medicaid, or any other third-party payor, nor listed on any state or government list of excluded individuals, parties, or specially designated nationals list as debarred, excluded, or otherwise ineligible for participation in government healthcare programs
• CPR/AED/BLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
• Valid and in-good-standing Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
• If clinical operations require writing prescriptions for controlled substances, a valid DEA license is required
• High degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring current or future sponsorship for an employment visa

Education

• Master's degree or higher in Nursing or related field
