Premise Health is seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner to provide care to client employees at our health centers in St. Charles and O'Fallon, Missouri. This is an as-needed position supporting occupational and preventive health services in a corporate health center setting.
Clinical Setting
You will work in established health centers serving employee populations in the St. Charles and O'Fallon areas. The role focuses on occupational health, preventive care, and primary health services in an ambulatory care environment.
Schedule
This is a PRN (as-needed) position with no weekend requirements. You must be available to work 8-hour shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, based on health center needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical exams and implement preventive health measures per established guidelines
- Perform clinical procedures including injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
- Develop patient care plans, document progress, and ensure continuity of care
- Educate patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and health development
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care
- Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies
- Refer patients to specialists or physicians as clinically indicated
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient health records and documentation
- Educate and coach nursing staff on clinical best practices
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Active state RN license
- Active Nurse Practitioner license
- State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable to your state of practice)
- Federal DEA license matching each state of practice
- Current national certification (ANCC or AANP)
- Master's Degree in Science of Nursing (if your Master's degree does not state Nursing on the diploma, official transcripts are required)
- Current certification with hands-on training in Basic Life Support for healthcare providers (AHA, ARC, or equivalent)
- At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, or emergency department setting
Additional Requirements
Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification may be required based on the scope of services in your assigned health center.
