Kinetic Medical Group, a nurse practitioner-owned primary care practice, is seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care to adult and geriatric patients in Pocomoke City, Maryland. This role emphasizes clinical autonomy, meaningful patient relationships, and community-focused care rather than high-volume throughput.
Clinical Setting
You will work in a primary care environment alongside patients, families, nursing staff, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals. The practice is designed to support NP-led clinical decision-making with a collaborative team available for consultation.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care evaluations, assessments, and follow-up visits for adult and geriatric patients
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Manage common chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, COPD, CHF, and other medical conditions
- Order and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies
- Review and manage medications
- Provide preventative care and health screenings
- Identify and address medical issues before they become emergencies
- Educate patients and families about disease management, medications, lifestyle, and preventative health
- Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare professionals when appropriate
- Help reduce avoidable emergency room visits and hospitalizations
- Participate in quality-improvement and population-health initiatives
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Serve as a trusted clinical resource for patients
- Practice with a high degree of autonomy while having support from the KMG team
Compensation and Schedule
- Annualized compensation: $115,000–$140,000 for full-time employment, with part-time compensation based on schedule and clinical commitment
- Full-time or part-time positions available
