Nurse Practitioner (Portland)

This Nurse Practitioner role provides comprehensive care to vascular patients in an outpatient setting. You will work collaboratively with clinical leadership and attending surgeons to diagnose and manage patients with vascular disease, perform procedures, and ensure optimal patient care from check-in through discharge.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage patients with vascular disease, including performing procedures and providing optimal patient care from check-in to discharge
• Conduct comprehensive history and physical exams, order diagnostic tests, and prescribe, dispense, and administer medications
• Provide education and support to patients and families
• Develop and offer educational programs and events to professionals and community members
• Assist in maintaining Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) accreditation, including developing policy and procedure manuals, staffing, and ongoing operations
• Oversee the Quality Assurance program
• Conduct peer-to-peer reviews to assist with insurance coverage
• Assist with marketing efforts, including community outreach, networking, and social media
• Ensure proper documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and protect all information according to HIPAA guidelines
• Engage in projects that advance professional awareness and competency
• Provide clinical guidance and leadership for the team as needed
• Uphold all regulatory standards, including IAC requirements
• Complete ad hoc projects as needed

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing
• Active registered nurse license in Massachusetts
• High standard of moral and ethical behavior
• Ability to work effectively as a team member and develop work relationships with office staff

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 or more years of recent experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a vascular setting
• 1 or more year of outpatient care experience

Compensation

• $95,000 - $150,000 per year, negotiable based on skills and experience
