Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our team providing mental health and primary care services. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive patient care including diagnosis, treatment planning, and consultations to a diverse client population.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnosis, treatment, and consultations across all aspects of patient care
• Prescribe medications and provide treatment for mental health and substance abuse clients
• Examine patients, gather health histories, and perform physical examinations and diagnostic procedures
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Manage a caseload of approximately 70 clients
• Handle your own client billing

Required Qualifications

• Current active license/registration to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Maryland
• Master's Degree in Nursing
• Ability to prescribe medication for substance abuse clients
• Ability to accept Medicaid, Medicare, and other insurance plans
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
• Ability to maintain highly confidential information

Schedule

• Work in office four days per week
• Must be able to work in our office (on-site requirement)
