We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our team providing mental health and primary care services. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive patient care including diagnosis, treatment planning, and consultations to a diverse client population.
Responsibilities
- Provide diagnosis, treatment, and consultations across all aspects of patient care
- Prescribe medications and provide treatment for mental health and substance abuse clients
- Examine patients, gather health histories, and perform physical examinations and diagnostic procedures
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Manage a caseload of approximately 70 clients
- Handle your own client billing
Required Qualifications
- Current active license/registration to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Maryland
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Ability to prescribe medication for substance abuse clients
- Ability to accept Medicaid, Medicare, and other insurance plans
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information
Schedule
- Work in office four days per week
- Must be able to work in our office (on-site requirement)
