Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Wound Care

MedStaff Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide wound care services at skilled nursing facilities throughout Vermont. This is a part-time position covering facilities in Rutland, Springfield, St. Johnsbury, and Bennington.

Clinical Setting

• Facility-based wound care at skilled nursing facilities
• Multi-facility coverage across four Vermont locations
• No evening or weekend shifts

Schedule

• Part-time: 2 days per week
• Consistent weekly schedule
• No evenings or weekends

Responsibilities

• Provide wound care services to patients at assigned facilities
• Travel between all assigned facilities in the territory
• Manage patient caseload with gradual ramp-up period
• Participate in ongoing clinical support and training

Required Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
• Minimum 2 years of solo or independent practice experience
• Vermont license or ability to obtain one
• Comfortable traveling between all assigned facilities

• Hands-on clinical training tailored to experience level
• No previous wound care experience required
• Ongoing clinical support during caseload ramp-up

Compensation and Benefits

• Estimated earnings: $75,000–$95,000+ annually, based on patient volume and procedures
• Productivity-based compensation

Travel Requirements

• Must be comfortable traveling between Rutland, Springfield, St. Johnsbury, and Bennington, Vermont
• Travel between assigned facilities required as part of regular duties
