We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide clinical care in our Emergency Room. You will work as part of the physician-led team, delivering primary emergency care to patients while following established standards, practices, and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the emergency setting
- Act as an assistant to physicians in the Emergency Room
- Take medical histories and assess patient medical conditions
- Interpret clinical findings and develop appropriate care plans
- Maintain accurate medical records and prepare clinical reports
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public
- Contribute to department quality assurance initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Knowledge of professional nursing or medical theory, practice, and patient care principles
- Knowledge of organizational policies, regulations, and procedures
- Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments used in patient care
- Knowledge of common safety hazards and appropriate precautions
- Skill in applying clinical principles, methods, and techniques as a healthcare provider
- Skill in taking medical histories and interpreting clinical findings
- Skill in preparing and maintaining medical records and clinical documentation
- Skill in developing and maintaining quality assurance standards
- Ability to maintain quality control standards
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply clinical guidelines and procedures
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients and healthcare team members
