Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

ClearChoiceMD is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a per-diem urgent care position. This role involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment, treating illnesses and injuries for patients of all ages. You will work collaboratively with the clinical team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care while maintaining the highest ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with center clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care appropriate to the age of patients
• Provide treatment of illnesses and injuries
• Order laboratory tests and other diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications for children and adults
• Perform common urgent care procedures including wound repair, abscess drainage, splinting, EKG interpretation, and X-ray interpretation

Schedule

• Per-diem position
• Three 12-hour shifts per month

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing Practice or Physician Assistant Studies
• Current state license in the state where the center is located
• Experience as a provider in emergency medicine or urgent care
• Credentialed to see patients of all ages
• Active DEA license with no restrictions
• Current DOT certification or ability to become certified
