Nurse Practitioner Per Diem

Elite Corporate Medical Services is seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a per diem basis. You will provide coverage at our clinics in Chico, Colusa, and Redding, delivering high-quality primary care to a diverse patient population in a concierge-style setting focused on patient relationships rather than volume-driven metrics.

Clinical Setting

Our clinics serve employees and their families through corporate health programs and college students at school sites. Services are not open to the general public. You will work in a patient-centered environment designed to provide personalized care without the pressure of overcrowded shifts.

Schedule

Clinic operation days and hours vary by location:

• United Ag, Chico: Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
• United Ag, Colusa: Wednesday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
• United Ag, Redding: Wednesday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

Each clinic is closed for a one-hour lunch break beginning at 1:00 pm. This is a per diem position with flexible, as-needed scheduling across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Use medical training, skills, and clinical judgment to provide timely, responsive care to a multicultural patient population
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions
• Work independently, contacting an offsite supervising physician as needed regarding patient care
• Provide personalized treatment of patients, ensuring care is relevant for short and long-term outcomes
• See all scheduled and walk-in patients each day, approximately 6 to 12 patients daily
• Prescribe medications and treatments based on patient needs and in accordance with practice guidelines
• Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records using eClinicalWorks

Required Qualifications

• Active California Nurse Practitioner license
• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner
• Active Furnishing License (must have or be able to obtain within 120 days of hire)
• DEA registration (must have or be able to obtain within 120 days of hire)
• BLS certification (must have or be able to obtain within 10 days of hire)
• Proficiency with medical equipment and technology relevant to the role, including DME and EMR systems (eClinicalWorks)

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $65.00 to $85.00 per hour
