Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant-Urogynecology (IU North Hospital)

IU Health North Hospital in Carmel, Indiana is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Urogynecology team. This is a new full-time position providing 100% outpatient care in a state-of-the-art facility. You will work directly with 3 advanced practice providers and 8 physicians, seeing new and return patients with pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic floor disorders, urinary and stool incontinence, and recurrent urinary tract infections.

Clinical Setting

IU Health North Hospital is a 189-bed full-service hospital located 10 miles north of Indianapolis in Carmel, Indiana. The facility includes dedicated pavilions for specialty surgery, women and children services, an attached medical office building, and a cancer center. The hospital serves over 172,000 outpatient visits annually.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage new and return patients with urogynecologic conditions
• Perform urodynamic studies, pessary fitting, vulvar biopsies, endometrial biopsies, and percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation (PTNS)
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary urogynecology team
• Follow up on patient testing, laboratory results, and plans of care

Schedule

• Full-time, day shift
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• No on-call schedule

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree
• Current certification as ACNP, AGNP, FNP, WHNP, or PA
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
• Experience as an advanced practice provider or registered nurse in urology, gynecology, or urogynecology
