Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Primary Care and Women's Health

Tia is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide primary care and women's health services through a hybrid schedule supporting our Pasadena clinic and virtual care team. This role offers a consistent schedule with remote patient care on Mondays and Fridays and in-person care at our Pasadena clinic on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The clinician will also work in person on the third Saturday of every month and will have Tuesday off during that week. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced outpatient clinician who enjoys balancing in-person and virtual care, works confidently and independently, and wants to care for women across different life stages within an integrated healthcare model.

Clinical Setting

Tia integrates primary care, gynecology, mental health, dermatology, and wellness across in-person and virtual settings. You will provide care through both in-person visits at the Pasadena clinic and virtual visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive and problem-based primary care, including annual wellness visits, acute concerns, health screenings, and management of common chronic conditions
• Deliver high-quality care through both in-person and virtual visits
• Provide routine gynecologic and reproductive healthcare, including Pap smears, contraception counseling, STI screening, and evaluation of urinary and vaginal symptoms
• Evaluate common concerns such as hypertension, diabetes, anxiety, depression, cough, sore throat, abdominal pain, and basic dermatologic conditions
• Perform IUD insertions and other procedures within your training, licensure, credentialing, and Tia's clinical scope
• Review test results, develop care plans, communicate next steps, and coordinate follow-up
• Maintain consistent clinical, documentation, and patient experience standards across in-person and virtual care
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, mental health clinicians, and clinic operations
• Provide occasional inbox or clinical team support when you are not scheduled for patient visits

Required Qualifications

• Active California NP or PA license
• Current national board certification, such as ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA
• Active DEA registration
• 3 or more years of independent outpatient primary care experience
• Experience providing primary care and routine gynecologic or reproductive healthcare
• Experience managing common acute and chronic outpatient conditions
• Ability to perform IUD insertions
• Ability to work independently in both virtual and in-person clinical settings
• Commitment to inclusive, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and patient-centered care
• Comfort using EHRs and technology-supported clinical workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience performing Nexplanon insertions or colposcopies
• Experience providing LGBTQ+ inclusive and gender-affirming care
• Experience managing anxiety and depression in an outpatient primary care setting
• Experience serving diverse patient populations
• Previous experience providing virtual care

Schedule

This is a full-time role with a consistent hybrid schedule:

• Monday: Remote
• Tuesday: In person at Tia Pasadena
• Wednesday: In person at Tia Pasadena
• Thursday: In person at Tia Pasadena
• Friday: Remote
• Third Saturday of every month: In person at Tia Pasadena, with Tuesday off during that week

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000 to $170,000 annually. This position also includes:

Individual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and relevant clinical expertise.
