Sutter Medical Group seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our orthopedic surgery team in Sacramento, CA. This position offers a balanced mix of clinic and operating room responsibilities, working closely with orthopedic surgeons across multiple subspecialties.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in patient evaluations and perioperative management
  • Provide post-operative care and patient education
  • Perform first-assist responsibilities in the operating room
  • Work collaboratively with orthopedic surgeons across multiple subspecialties

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Active California NP or PA license, or ability to obtain
  • Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to function effectively in both clinic and surgical settings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Orthopedic surgery experience
  • First-assist experience
