Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – ConvenientCare

Join our urgent care team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, providing autonomous clinical care for patients aged one and older. You will diagnose and treat common acute illnesses including sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, and urinary tract infections, while also conducting routine health exams, immunizations, screenings, and wellness services.

Clinical Setting

You will work within a large healthcare network with access to extensive resources and specialists, operating in a comfortable urgent care environment where scrubs are standard attire.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and conditions
• Conduct routine health examinations
• Administer immunizations and perform health screenings
• Provide wellness services
• Work with limited administrative tasks
• Operate autonomously in clinical decision-making

Required Qualifications

• Minimum six months of relevant clinical experience in primary care, emergency, urgent care, or critical care
• For Physician Assistants: Completion of an ARC-PA approved program, NCCPA certification or eligibility, and Pennsylvania licensure
• For Nurse Practitioners: Graduation from an approved program, eligibility for national certification, and Pennsylvania licensure

Schedule

• 14 rotating shifts per month
• No overnight shifts
• No extra mandated shifts
