Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Cardiology - Westover Hills in San Antonio, TX

Baptist Health System and Tenet Healthcare are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Cardiology/Interventional team supporting the clinic in the Westover Hills area of San Antonio, TX. This role offers the opportunity to work within a growing cardiovascular program providing coordinated care across multiple settings, including inpatient, LTAC, and outpatient environments.

Clinical Setting

• Hospital rounding
• LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) rounding
• Outpatient clinic support
• Collaborative team environment working alongside physicians and 2 experienced APPs
• Multi-site cardiology program with long-term growth potential

Responsibilities

• Provide care per collaborative agreement and/or state requirements
• Support hospital and LTAC patient populations
• Participate in outpatient clinic operations
• Contribute to coordinated care across inpatient, LTAC, and outpatient settings

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Some weekend call required

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner
• Current RNP (Registered Nurse Practitioner) license
• Current licensure, certification, or registration to practice as required by law, regulation, and state of practice
• Additional certifications as required by governing board and facility Medical Staff Bylaws
