Compassionate Medical Care of WNY is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our primary care team in Amherst, NY. In this role, you will provide comprehensive patient care in a supportive, patient-centered environment, working with diverse patient populations to diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, physical exams, and health histories
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions across patient populations
  • Develop and manage individualized patient care plans
  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with clinical guidelines
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging
  • Educate patients and families on health management, prevention, and wellness
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure coordinated care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system

Required Qualifications

  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in the State of New York
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited program
  • Current national NP certification (FNP, ANP, or relevant specialty)
  • DEA registration and prescriptive authority in New York
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first approach
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
