Nurse Practitioner - Occupational Medicine - Urgent Care

Up Clinics is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP-C) to join our occupational medicine team in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment. In this role, you will provide comprehensive workplace health services to employees across a wide range of industries, focusing on injury prevention, management of work-related conditions, and return-to-work support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-employment physicals, DOT exams, and return-to-work evaluations
• Evaluate and manage work-related injuries and illnesses
• Perform minor procedures including suturing, splinting, and wound care
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and employers to ensure continuity of care
• Document clinical findings accurately and in a timely manner in the EMR
• Support wellness initiatives and preventive care programs

Required Qualifications

• Current and valid NP-C license in California
• BLS/CPR certification
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain upon hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or primary care
• ACLS certification
• Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and time management skills

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• No weekends or on-call duties
