Nurse Practitioner - Occupational Health Event

CareerNation is seeking Nurse Practitioners to support a one-day occupational health event in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This short-term, on-site assignment involves conducting human performance and physical ability examinations to assess whether participants can safely and competently perform the physical movements associated with their job duties. This event has potential to convert into a travel contract with CareerNation for additional occupational health assignments.

Clinical Setting

The event will be held on September 9, 2026, from 7 AM to 6 PM at Little America Hotel & Resort, 2800 W Lincolnway, Cheyenne, WY 82009. You must remain on-site for the full scheduled event.

Responsibilities

• Conduct human performance and physical ability examinations
• Obtain and/or verify manual vital signs
• Guide participants through required physical movements and functional activities
• Evaluate movements including squatting, bending, twisting, sit-to-stand movements, balance activities, duck walking, and other job-related functional movements
• Observe participants for proper and safe completion of testing activities
• Complete required examination documentation
• Communicate any concerns or issues to the event lead
• Maintain a professional, efficient, and positive experience for participants throughout the event

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license
• Current BLS certification
• Comfortable conducting hands-on physical and functional assessments
• Strong communication and documentation skills
