Medical Director Services PC is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care services at a skilled nursing facility in Rome, GA. This weekend position offers the opportunity to serve both long-term and short-term residents in a team-based care environment. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Clinical Setting

You will work in a skilled nursing facility setting, collaborating with medical attending physicians and nursing home staff to deliver evidence-based care aligned with residents' needs and preferences.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary care provider to long-term and short-term residents
  • Assess patients' health through facility visits, physical examinations, and review of medical histories
  • Obtain, update, and study patient medical records
  • Collaborate with the medical attending physician and nursing home staff to provide high-quality care
  • Build relationships with residents and families through education and care planning
  • Ensure charting, documentation, and administration of care are current and completed in a timely manner
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuing education and professional engagement
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with organizational procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Respect and honor cultural, personal, and religious beliefs of all patients and staff
