Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) - Aesthetic Injector

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our physician-led dermatology and aesthetics practice as an Aesthetic Injector. You will work in our Cosmetic Dermatology & Medical Spa department, collaborating with board-certified dermatologists and plastic surgeons to deliver comprehensive aesthetic care. This role focuses on cosmetic injectables, laser treatments, and regenerative medicine in a supportive, technology-forward environment.

Clinical Setting

You will practice in a multi-specialty dermatology organization offering medical, surgical, and cosmetic services including injectables, lasers, hair restoration, skincare, and plastic surgery. You will report to the Medical Director or Director of Aesthetic Services and work alongside dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and other advanced practice providers.

Responsibilities

• Perform cosmetic consultations and create customized treatment plans
• Administer neurotoxins, dermal fillers, Sculptra, PRP, and other regenerative treatments
• Perform laser treatments and RF microneedling (training available for the right candidate)
• Evaluate and treat hair loss utilizing PRP and comprehensive hair restoration protocols
• Educate patients on treatment options, skincare, and home maintenance
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and obtain informed consent
• Collaborate with dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and the cosmetic team to deliver exceptional patient care
• Participate in continuing education, marketing initiatives, and practice growth

Required Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Iowa
• DEA registration
• Current BLS certification
• Excellent communication and patient relationship skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 or more years of aesthetic injecting experience
• Experience with neurotoxins, fillers, Sculptra, lasers, RF microneedling, and PRP
• Cosmetic dermatology or plastic surgery experience
• Strong understanding of facial anatomy
• Ability to deliver natural-looking results
