Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Pediatric General Surgery - Full Time - 8hr Days

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Pediatric Surgical Outreach Program. In this full-time role working 8-hour days, you will provide comprehensive care to pediatric surgical patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, playing a key role in delivering world-class healthcare to children and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Perform physical exams, diagnose illnesses, and develop effective treatment plans
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and complete care
• Coordinate and interpret diagnostic tests to determine the best course of treatment
• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Participate in groundbreaking research to advance pediatric healthcare
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with established protocols
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with medical advancements

Required Qualifications

• Master of Nursing Degree
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program approved by the California Board of Registered Nurses
• One or more years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a pediatric setting
• Current California RN License
• Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing License
• NP National Certification
• Current DEA License (2-5)
• Current Life Support Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• NP experience in NICU, Pediatrics, and/or Pediatric ER setting
• NP pediatric surgery experience
