The opportunity

Job Description

IVX Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide specialized infusion therapy in an outpatient setting. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals managing complex chronic conditions, overseeing treatment administration, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and serving as a trusted clinical resource for patients, families, and referring providers.

Clinical Setting

You will work in an innovative outpatient infusion center environment focused on patient comfort, seamless care coordination, and specialized infusion therapies. The role involves both on-site and virtual supervision of infusions and injections. You may work across multiple facilities within a designated market as operational needs require.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care through on-site and virtual supervision while administering infusions and injections with precision
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, document SOAP notes, and monitor treatment responses
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment expectations, potential side effects, and disease management
  • Maintain accurate records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, review nursing documentation, and uphold HIPAA and OSHA standards
  • Assist with chart preparation and treatment planning to optimize clinical workflows and streamline patient visits
  • Collaborate with referring providers and cross-functional teams to enhance care coordination
  • Support operations including inventory management, prior authorizations, and regulatory adherence
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care and organizational objectives

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexibility to support market needs is required; days and locations may be subject to change.

Required Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (if required by state)
  • Board certification from AANP or ANCC
  • BLS certification
  • Strong IV and infusion therapy skills with experience in specialty biologics, medication management, and emergency response protocols
  • Proficiency with EHR systems and strong understanding of HIPAA and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to care for both adult and pediatric patient populations

Preferred Qualifications

  • PALS certification
  • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification
  • Background in an ambulatory infusion center, outpatient specialty clinic, or similar setting
  • CRNI (Certified Registered Nurse Infusion) certification
  • ONCC (Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation) certification
