Nurse Practitioner (NP)

A medical practice is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide patient care at a skilled nursing facility in Jasper, GA. New graduates with strong clinical capabilities are welcome to apply. Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of quality patient care in a respectful, professional manner
• Collaborate with physicians by identifying patient care issues, providing clinical insights, and implementing directives
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including interviews, physical exams, and medical history reviews
• Document all patient care activities thoroughly and accurately in medical records
• Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound management
• Educate and counsel patients on treatment plans, wellness, and health maintenance
• Develop and implement patient management plans to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain compliance with infection control policies and legal requirements
• Participate in professional development activities and contribute to team growth and education

Required Qualifications

• Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
• Demonstrated skills in clinical assessment, health promotion, infection control, medication administration, and pain management
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Commitment to self-development and staying current with professional standards
