Nurse Practitioner - Nocturnist at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital

Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital, a critical access hospital in Sullivan, Missouri, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to serve as a Nocturnist providing inpatient hospitalist care on the night shift.

This position offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive inpatient care in a modern facility with state-of-the-art services including an emergency department, critical care unit, surgical suite, cardiac rehabilitation, and cancer center. You will work collaboratively with a physician under a formal collaborative practice agreement, managing patient populations with considerable independence guided by physician-approved protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and initiate patient care treatment plans within the scope of a formal physician collaborative practice agreement
• Manage the health care of patient populations through advanced health assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation
• Coordinate care to ensure promotion of health and wellness through patient and family education, service coordination, and referrals
• Develop treatment plans and treat patients with acute problems including illnesses and minor injuries following predetermined protocols
• Participate in professional development
• Maintain constant alertness and work safely as this is a safety-sensitive position

Schedule

• Nights: 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
• 7 on / 7 off rotation
• Full-time

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing
• Current Nurse Practitioner license
• Current RN license
• Less than 2 years of experience required
• No supervisory experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate in Nursing
• 2-5 years of clinical experience

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $125,985.60 – $171,017.60 per year (based on qualifications and relevant work experience)
