Nurse Practitioner - Neurology

Houston Neurology and Diagnostics is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with expertise in Neurology and brain injury to join our growing practice specializing in concussion and mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI). This full-time or part-time position is based in Houston and offers flexible hours, a supportive team environment, and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and diagnostic evaluations of patients
• Manage pain effectively through appropriate treatment plans and interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers in case management
• Document medical histories, treatment plans, and patient progress accurately in medical records
• Educate patients on health management, preventive care, and treatment options

Required Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with state licensure for practice
• Demonstrated experience in Neurology
• Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation and case management practices
• Skilled in medical documentation and familiar with electronic health records (EHR)
• Excellent communication abilities for patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams
• Fluency in English
• Flexibility to work varying hours to meet the demands of patient care

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Botox and trigger point injections
