Nurse Practitioner, Marshall Medical Centers South, Full Time, 3rd Shift

Marshall Medical Centers South is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner for the 3rd shift. In this role, you will provide comprehensive direct patient care, including obtaining patient histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, diagnosing illness, and prescribing pharmacological and other treatments. You will also provide health maintenance and promotion interventions through patient and family education and counseling.

Beyond direct patient care, you will assume accountability for indirect care responsibilities that support the clinical team and organization, including staff and student education, clinical research, program development, and quality improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited college or university
• Successful completion of a National Certification Exam for Nurse Practitioner
• Current registration through the Alabama Board of Nursing and Board of Medical Examiners
• Approval from the Northwest Alabama Healthcare Authority credentialing board
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
• ACLS and/or PALS certification
