We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner with psychiatric experience to provide behavioral health services to nursing home and long-term care residents throughout South Arkansas. This position offers the opportunity to work with an established patient caseload while maintaining clinical autonomy and receiving administrative support, credentialing assistance, and access to psychiatrist consultation.
Clinical Setting
You will serve nursing home and long-term care facilities in South Arkansas, including Crossett, Monticello, and surrounding areas. The organization provides patient caseloads, administrative support, and clinical resources to support your practice.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits
- Assess and manage depression, anxiety, dementia-related behaviors, and other behavioral health conditions
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
- Maintain EMR documentation and treatment plans
- Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, pharmacists, and facility leadership
- Travel between assigned facilities throughout the week as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Arkansas Nurse Practitioner license
- DEA registration or ability to obtain
- Ability to work independently with clinical support available
Preferred Qualifications
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification
- Experience in psychiatry, geriatrics, long-term care, or primary care
- Other NP backgrounds considered if comfortable managing psychiatric patients
Schedule
- Full-time or part-time opportunities available
- Flexible scheduling
- Travel between assigned facilities throughout the week as needed
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual earnings range from $105,000 to $190,000, with opportunity to earn more based on schedule and patient volume
