Nurse Practitioner

A Better Health Primary Care in Biloxi, MS is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to deliver high-quality primary care services to patients in our community. This role is ideal for an experienced clinician with at least 2 years of primary care experience who is ready to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers in a supportive, patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, including physical exams and health histories
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Educate patients on preventative care and healthy lifestyle choices
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely patient records
• Manage timely and comprehensive follow-up care for patients, including lab and test results, orders, and medication management
• Perform procedures in the Wellness Clinic with opportunities for additional commission earnings

Required Qualifications

• Valid Mississippi Nurse Practitioner license
• At least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
• At least 2 years of experience in Primary Care
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
• Ability to manage patient care and follow-up in a timely manner
• Ability to work as part of a team
