Nurse Practitioner (24 hours per week with Full Benefits and Flex Time) Marshall, MO

Marathon Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our advanced primary care team in Marshall, Missouri. This is a 24-hour per week position (.6 FTE) offering full benefits and flexible scheduling. You will practice relationship-based medicine at the top of your license, providing wholistic care including prevention, chronic disease management, and health education to patients.

Clinical Setting

Marathon Health operates nationwide onsite, nearsite, and network health centers, as well as virtual primary care services. We partner with employer and union plan sponsors to deliver value-based primary care that emphasizes health outcomes over patient volume and billing.

Responsibilities

• Provide relationship-based primary care including prevention, chronic disease management, and health education
• Conduct routine wellness visits, chronic care management, and urgent visits
• Practice autonomously with a focus on patient-centered care
• Utilize clinical resources including UpToDate and RubiconMD
• Participate in regular provider meetings such as journal clubs and grand rounds

Schedule and Work Environment

• 24 hours per week with flexible scheduling
• Appointments range from 20 to 60 minutes per patient
• Smaller patient panel size compared to traditional fee-for-service models
• Fewer administrative and insurance-related tasks
• Success measured by health outcomes rather than patient volume and billing

Required Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license
• Current ANCC or AANP board certification
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date
• Federal DEA number preferred; may be required for full prescribing ability

Preferred Qualifications

• Independent practice provider status, where applicable per state regulation
• Independent family practice experience including routine wellness care, chronic care management, and urgent visits

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay range: $75,000 - $95,000 per year (.6 FTE)
• Actual offer may vary based on geographic location, years of experience, and skill level
