Job Description

NurseSpring is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for school nursing positions in the Richmond/Chesterfield area. This role involves providing nursing care to students in a school setting, with a focus on managing complex medical needs including ventilators, tracheostomies, and gastric tubes.

Required Qualifications

Active state license as an RN or LPN
Minimum one year of nursing experience within the last three years
Current PPD (purified protein derivative) test
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
Current physical or health statement
Experience with ventilators, tracheostomies, and G-tubes, including trach changes and replacements
Experience with straight catheterization
Experience with bowel programs
Excellent verbal and written communication and organization skills
