Nurse Extern - Vascular, Ear, Nose, and Throat

This Nurse Extern position in Vascular, Ear, Nose, and Throat offers clinical training and hands-on experience in a specialized surgical setting. You will work under the direct supervision and mentorship of an experienced RN preceptor who will provide personalized 1:1 clinical training.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized patient care consistent with each patient's plan of care under RN direction and supervision
• Report changes in patient condition to the RN in a timely manner
• Make rounds and handle basic patient requests
• Perform patient and family assistance tasks as needed
• Seek and utilize feedback from the Clinical Leader and RN to identify opportunities for clinical performance improvement

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing
• Successfully completed one clinical nursing rotation
