Nurse Extern - Surgical Progressive Care Unit - PRN

This PRN position offers the opportunity to work as a Nurse Extern on a Surgical Progressive Care Unit under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will perform essential patient care duties and contribute to a safe, comfortable environment for patients and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record patient vital signs
• Assist with bathing, feeding, dressing, and grooming based on patient needs
• Transport patients as needed
• Conduct hourly rounds to monitor patient well-being
• Create a comforting and secure environment for patients and visitors

Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of Nursing Fundamentals course
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Schedule

• PRN (as needed); scheduled shifts
