Nurse Extern - Stepdown

DePaul Hospital in St. Louis is seeking a Nurse Extern for the Stepdown unit. This is a variable shift position that provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience in a structured learning environment.

As a Nurse Extern, you will work under the direct supervision and guidance of an RN preceptor who will provide personalized 1:1 clinical training and hands-on assistance throughout your role. You will deliver individualized patient care consistent with each patient's plan of care, make rounds, and handle basic patient requests and family assistance tasks as needed. You will report changes in patient condition to your RN preceptor in a timely manner and actively seek feedback to identify opportunities for clinical performance improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing
• Successfully completed one clinical nursing rotation
