Job Description

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking Nurse Externs to join the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). This position offers valuable clinical experience working alongside Registered Nurses in a dynamic acute care setting. As a Nurse Extern, you will carry out routine and assigned nursing tasks and assist RNs with patient care activities within the scope of your training and experience, operating within hospital and nursing service policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in an accredited professional nursing program
Two letters of recommendation from nursing instructors
Experience effectively dealing with the public
CPR certification
Glucoscan certification
