Job Description
As a Nurse Extern, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide patient care in accordance with established policies and standard work. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical clinical experience while completing your nursing education.
Responsibilities
- Perform assigned duties in providing patient care
- Communicate patient care needs to the nursing team
- Resolve work-related issues in collaboration with nursing staff
- Perform additional job-related duties as requested by Manager/Director
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a school of nursing program
- Entering senior year of nursing program
- Within 6-12 months of graduation
- Two acceptable references from clinical instructors at your school of nursing
- BLS certification
