Nurse Extern, PRN

As a Nurse Extern at Eastside Medical Center, you will provide direct patient care to patients across the lifespan under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. In this pre-licensure role, you will utilize treatments, procedures, and equipment appropriate to your level of training in accordance with hospital policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to patients from birth through the lifecycle
• Utilize treatments, procedures, and equipment appropriate to pre-licensure nurses in the clinical setting
• Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Follow all hospital policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in and progressing through an accredited nursing program
• Successfully completed the first Medical/Surgical rotation
• Graduation date of December 2027
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
